About Southern University Alumni Federation / Southern University Alumni Affairs

Established in 1947, the Southern University Alumni Federation / Southern University Alumni Affairs has served as the voice for alumni for the past 61 years. The federation’s mission is to support the goals and objectives of the University through recruitment, financial support, public relations, community outreach, talent, loyalty, dedication and commitment to the highest standards. Consisting of tens of thousands of members, the Southern University Alumni Federation / Southern University Alumni Affairs is actively engaged with alumni throughout the United States and across the globe. Led by a history of competent, dedicated, and talented leaders, the Federation strives to keep graduates connected and exposed to opportunities, fellow graduate accomplishments, bringing awareness to issues that affect the University, and the continuing fight to preserve the University and its mission
